I have been unable to teach our 6 mo old schanuzer to come…impossible to let her off the leash. HELP!?

I had the same problem. Some puppies find it to be a game when you call them and they don’t come to you… not good.

So, here’s what you can try:
Start off in the house, whenever you pup comes up to you [whether you asked her to or whatever] treat her. She needs to realize that coming to you can be a good thing.

What I did with my pup was gave her a treat whenever she made eye contact with me… it helped to get her attention. After you pup realizes she’ll get a treat for simply looking at you, odds are, it’ll be a little easier to get her to come over.

After a while just be sure to keep her guessing… give her a treat every other time she makes eye contact with you or walks up to you, this way you’ll always have her attention as she’ll be waiting for the next time you give her a treat.

Aslo, try they retractable leads. I use to hate them, but I later found out they are great for training purposes…
I wait till my pup gets as far as the lead will let her, then I’ll try to call her back… if she doesn’t listen, I’ll jerk her back toward me. Then I’ll try calling again… and so on until she either comes to me on her own, or I’m pulled her back to me

I’ve never had the time or extra money to take my puppy to training classes… I’m sure they’re great, but I’ve done pretty well training my puppy on my own.

Either way, my puppy is now 9 months old and I still don’t let her off a leash. She’s a puppy, I don’t trust her even if she does know how to come. Anything could happen… trust will come along with her age, as will with your pup

Good luck
Hope my training method works for you and your pup :D

My fish are dying in my saltwater aquarium?

I would think your tank is overstocked first of all. A 45 is way too small for all the fish you have. BTW, I have a 150 gallon tank with only one porcupine puffer in it ( he’s about 8″ ) I change my water every 6 to 10 months- I change my filters regularly- […]

I would think your tank is overstocked first of all. A 45 is way too small for all the fish you have. BTW, I have a 150 gallon tank with only one porcupine puffer in it ( he’s about 8″ ) I change my water every 6 to 10 months- I change my filters regularly- and I change 100 gallons at a time when I do! That person saying something about a 30% is too much is mis-informed ( bacteria don’t live in the water and those that do cloud the water anyway! ). Try a UV sterilizer- DO NOT BUY the Turbo -Twist ( poop ). I use 2 Gamma UV 15 watt units in my tank. An 8 watt unit would suffice in yours. Do not overfeed! I feed my puffer 3 times a week, I would feed your fish the same amount of times. Shut your filters down during feeding so a everyone gets a chance to eat. I hope you are running a protein skimmer- if not, check out Aqua C Remora. With your stocking levels, I would change about 15 gallons a month. Also make sure the PH is 8.1 to 8.3, salinity between 1.020-1.023, and the surface of the tank is thoroughly agitated. Don’t lose hope, duplicating the ocean ( millions of years of evolution ) in a home is a lot of trial and error. What works for some does not work for all. Fish keeping is not an exact science. Good luck friend!

First, to answer the digital part of this question, yes, this camera is digital. It uses a HI8 tape and records the information to the tape in a digital format. That’s why it has the DV (Digital Video) I/O. The word digital has nothing to do with the quality of the picture, only the way the video and audio is captured and stored.

There are 2 ways to connect this camera to a computer.

1. Use the DV in/out. Use a 4-pin (small end) to 6-pin (large end) firewire, or 4-pin to 4-pin on some laptops. If your computer does not have a firewire port, you will need to buy a firewire card, which will fit into one of your pci slots.

2. Use the A/V cables that should have came with your camera. Using this method, connect the camera to the audio and video inputs on your computer’s video capture card. Once again, if your computer does not have one of these cards, you will have to buy one ($50 - $200+ depending on the card). This method may give you a slight loss of quality because the camera has to convert the digital signal to analog since the A/V cables are analog cables.

The DV in/out port is the best method to use since the equipment costs less ( $30 for the firewire port, $10-$20 for the cable) and it transfers using a digital signal, providing for no loss of quality between the camera and the computer.

I am very big on personality too, it isnt like I dont think some hot people are attractive, but it dies fast if your personality just doesnt match up. I know that well, and to me I cant really be with anyone if they dont catch me emotionally in a strong way.

I know a gorgeous girl who dates alot of guys that are on a 1-10 scale 5 and below. But she is alot like me when it comes to what she looks for in a guy. Often, not all the time, lots of girls care more about personality than looks, and guys tend to be more visual.

But in the end, i think we are all truly attracted and stay together for a while when we are are attracted emotionally and romantically. Everyone has different preferences, honestly people care about looks, but its about 50% of everything, it counts, but alone it doesnt mean much.

“Acomplia (Rimonabant) is an anorectic anti obesity drug. It is a CB1 cannabinoid receptor antagonist. Rimonabant has been found to stop food craving enough to help people lose weight, and could also help curb other unhealthy urges, such as smoking.

This is a non-control weightloss solution that in one study, helped people who were overweight drop an average of 20 pounds, and was found to be very useful for patients who suffer from obesity. “

I love “living” and thats what keeps me living,
Love the sound of morning, love to toil, love to see my eyes see things which are the usual and yet discover something unusual….
Love to hear my varying heart beats when i experience the moments of joy and the moments of sorrow, moments of ectasy and moments of peace, moments of adventure and moments of calm, moments of anxiousness and moments of assurance….moments of hatred and moments of love, those machhiavellian moments and those serene ones….
Love each breath i take and love each breathtaking moment….
Love to see that i am cared for and that i care too
Love to love and be loved….
Love to see that i am missed…..and that i missed people too
Love to see my dog rushing for me after he sees me come back…..love to cuddle upto him when he looks dull
Love to smile and bring smiles for others
Love to clean my car and see it sparkle…love to splash water on the streets riding in the same car after it just rained….
Loving to get wet in the rain…
and lots and lots of things

But the gist is - Knowing that i have been lucky to get a life, cherishing its every moment…..

Just one line - Love of Life

Basically all of the speaker wires run to an amp, wherever it is located instead of running to the deck like most cars. In order to get the deck back like it should be you will either need to locate the factory wires that lead to the speakers by way of color code system (they may still be laying next to the speakers cut) or rewire all of the speakers routing the wires to your deck in your dash…..Again a lot of work. If you are lucky the person that did all this magnificant work left the factory wires there. and you can just reconnect them and wire your up…and everything will be easy. If not, it may actually be easier to wire the amp up! If you don’t know what you are doing on this I would definately ask for assistance from someone who knows what they are doing!

if an electric circuit is an open circuit does the electricity flows the conductors?

If, however, you have two parallel plates distanced closely to each other, you effective create a capacitor. Even though technically there is an electrical open circuit, it is still possible to create current through those two conductors as long as there is a load that will dissipate the stored energy.

The answer is no and yes to this question. Depending on why you would ask. If this is pertaining to say RF, then it will have a current. But if you just want to know what happens when you cut a wire to a resistor, then is a no go.

Its a good idea. You have to do it professionally. Though I haven’t run a day care center myself, I can say that its just like any other business and you have to do the following. For a more specific answer, you can speak to a day care owner in your neighbourhood, though he’ll be a competitor once you start.

1. Meet a CA and register your company. It might cost 30k
2. Have enough money to see you through for 1 year, assume that you won’t get good money out of the day care center for an year and then plan. Make a detailed plan, with your cash inflows, outflows each month assuming how many kids you can get and so on..
3. Your love for kids and running a business are two entirely different things altogether. Expertise in the former need not mean you will do well in the latter. My personal advice would be to just join in a day care center as a salaried employee to learn how this stuff works.. If you just enjoy being with kids and don’t like finance, marketing and so on, you should just be working in anyone else’s day care.

This is my humble opinion. Thanks and all the best.

:) I dont think that so called “tender revolutions” in the East of Europe are revolutions. They consists of one simple historical process- degradation and deep crush of the global communism (in which nature I see many common features with the actual global society). As it can be seen often in the history, when some social model crushes, the humans search some kind “substitution” of the old values, and very intensively at this, because the social nature as the nature as whole doesnt support “empty space”, or “vacuum”. The industrial age gave to the classical post-revolutionary society convinient substitute- the botomless faith in the power of the technology, and utopian idea, that the technology with its abilities could single do resolve all the humans problems. Once and forverer. If exist some parallels between the 19 century mentality and easteuropean tender pseudo-revolutions, its namely the utopian idea, that the changes in the name of the very changes go towards better (if not ideal) status of the human conditions.
